Color Mixer Pro is a pigment mixing reference for people who work with colour
Color Mixer Pro is a pigment mixing reference for people who work with colour
every day — painters, illustrators, designers, print technicians and art students.
It models subtractive RYB paint behaviour rather than additive screen light, so
what you see matches what happens on the palette. Red and yellow give orange.
Yellow and blue give green. All three primaries give brown.
FEATURES
- Subtractive RYB mixing — pigments behave like paint, not like RGB light
- Eight-pigment palette — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, white and black
- Exact ratios — every pigment is listed with its percentage, so a mix can be
written down and reproduced at the bench
- Tinting and shading — white lightens and black darkens independently of the
chromatic base
- Conversions in one panel — HEX, RGB, HSL and OKLCH, all in CSS Color 4
notation, ready to paste straight into a stylesheet or a design tool
- One-tap copy — every value has its own copy button
- Share a mix — send the whole conversion list, plus the pigment ratio that
produced it, by chat, SMS, email or notes
- Optional print values — an un-profiled CMYK separation and the nearest
spot-colour reference, each shown with how close the match actually is
- Portrait and landscape layouts, and a full-screen view that uses the whole display
- Works entirely offline — no account, no network access, no data collected
WHAT IT IS FOR
Planning a mix before committing pigment. Carrying a mixed colour across to
screen work without eyeballing it twice. Teaching colour theory with a model
that behaves like paint. Recording the ratio that produced a result so it can
be mixed again months later.
A NOTE ON THE PRINT AND SPOT COLOUR VALUES
The CMYK figures are a straight arithmetic separation with no ICC profile, no
ink limit and no black generation strategy. Treat them as a starting point for
a press operator, not a production separation.
The spot-colour row is a nearest match against a curated table of reference
colours. It is not licensed colour data and it is not a complete library. Both
it and the CMYK values are shown with the perceptual distance of the match, so
a weak match is visible rather than hidden.
Always confirm against a physical guide before a job goes to press.
